About the Role

This is the person who actually owns the daily fleet operation, not just another assistant.

What You'll Do

  • Know where every vehicle is and who has it
  • Manage check-ins/check-outs
  • Track rental due dates and extensions
  • Monitor overdue payments and initiate the recovery process
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, inspections and recalls
  • Assign work to the runner
  • Keep keys and vehicle records organized
  • Check GPS/vehicle status when necessary
  • Ensure cars are rental-ready
  • Document damage and mileage
  • Coordinate customer pickups/returns
  • Keep HQ/rental software updated
  • Track downtime, especially cars sitting at mechanics
  • Give the owner a daily fleet report: rented, available, maintenance, overdue, recovery, and upcoming returns

About the Role

This is the hands-on/road person.

What You'll Do

  • Take vehicles to and from mechanics
  • Take cars for Maryland inspections, emissions, tires, oil changes, detailing, etc.
  • Pick up parts and supplies
  • Move vehicles between the office, shop, airport/delivery locations, and other locations
  • Help with vehicle pickups/deliveries when needed
  • Assist with cleaning/fueling cars
  • Take before/after photos when transporting vehicles
  • Handle miscellaneous errands
  • Report vehicle problems immediately
